public (events + relations)
We have been makers, sellers, consumers, & educators. We have seen every side of the story & have been on every side of the table. What we have learned from this journey is that it was never about us. It was about the people, the community, the stories we have heard, & the connections we have made with everyone along the way. Their story is our story & ours are theirs. Can we be yours as well?
Let's make this about YOU... about your brand, your products, your passions, & your people. Let us connect the dots & draw the lines you need to promote your company & share your story - at a price you can say is fair. If you have the product, the desire, & the infrastructure to succeed, we will leverage our know how & every connection in our Rolodex (remember those?) to make YOU a success... together.
A vision born in doing, rooted in passion, & nurtured in experience.
I have extensive experience in all areas of the fashion business from collection inspirational concept, design, marketing, sales, production, & finally to retail sales. I've shown 10 collections on the runways of "The Tents" during New York Fashion Week. In 2009, I co-founded a media company to organize the world's fashion events into a single interactive port that allows fashion professionals to organize their schedules & interact directly with event organizers. In 2014 I joined The Bromley Group Public Relations as Creative Director & Vice President. In this role, I oversaw the overall visual & conceptual direction of the agency's work for their clients in the fashion, accessories, & home furnishings markets for both the traditional & digital media channels. I am a lecturer at The Parsons School of Design & serve on several advisory boards in the fashion industry. I'm an active member of the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) & FGI (Fashion Group International).
I'm a fashion industry professional having worked in the archives of Fairchild Publications & Ralph Lauren before launching my first company, Bishop Collective, which was a retail collaborative that provided American manufactured apparel & accessories from independent brands. The company was founded to improve transparency in supply chain & also served as a platform for young, emerging designers to tell their stories. I am also an educator and have lectured at FIT, Kent State University, and was the Department Chair of Fashion Design at The Art Institute of NYC where I oversaw the production the school's NYFW shows. My work in the classroom is one of my greatest achievements & I note my relationship with my students as a constant source of inspiration to do better & make change in the industry. In addition, I have also been an events & marketing consultant to several fashion & non-profit brands & have a tremendous amount of experience in styling & digital media.
If our bios above don't tell you enough, give us a call, send us an e-mail, or, if you've got the time, send us a note. We've done a lot, but welcome our next challenge. You game?
Work with us & we'll do everything in our power to make your campaign or event a success. No matter what it takes. On that, you can rely.
Yes, we've done our fair share of yoga, but that's not the flexibility that you are looking for from us. Our typical day... who knows? Does that explain this point?
They say that greatness is found in the details. If this is true, then we are really great. Correction: Make that really, really great...
While we respect the past, what really intrigues us is tomorrow. Our business changes by the day, so we keep our minds tuned into next week, next month, next year...
We are competitive people by nature. Competive in standards, competitive in results, & competitive in price. Oh... & don't ever challenge Mai to a bet in baseball...
