The event that we at VERY New York public relations looks forward to the most every year is the AAFA American Image Awards. We’ve been lucky enough to be producing this event for the last 9 years!  The 2023 installment was held at The Plaza Hotel here in New York City on Tuesday, April 25th.  The guest list was a veritable who’s who list of American fashion & the go to site for every fabulous event in New York City is… you guessed it (or should we say you “guest” it… sorry we just couldn’t pass that one up…) is Guest of a Guest, who was on the red carpet last night reporting on all the action.

In attendance were the 5 honorees (Joe Preston, CEO of New Balance, designer Willy Chavarria, Harlem’s Fashion Row founder Brandice Daniel, Eco-Activist William McDonough, & joining via video was Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director General of the World Trade Organization. Joining in the celebration were designers & luminaries from John Bartlett & Ruthie Davis to Gita Omri & Andrew Kwon, to mention but only a few… Check out the story on Guest of a Guest for more details & all the photos.

Proceeds from the 2023 American Image Awards were given to the CFDA Foundation.
