On Tuesday, September 12th, designer Cyril Verdavainne, the creative force behind the couture level VERDAVAINNE collection, made his NYFW debut & VERY New York public relations was privileged to be along with him for the ride!  Also along for the ride was the team at GUILD MAGAZINE & they posted the first review of the season in this article. The event, held at Cipriani Wall-Street, the 3 hour presentation was attended by a veritable who’s who of fashion press, media, stylists, retailers, & devoted private clients alike. Everyone in attendance was there to celebrate Cyril’s arrival on the NYFW calendar, but the real star of the show was the collection.

26 looks, each worthy of praise & admiration, walked the red carpet “runway” on the Cipriani terrace while onlookers from the financial offices along Wall Street hung from surrounding buildings to catch a glimpse of the models making their way up & down the terrace. As the event concluded, the party continued with loyal atelier insiders still standing around, greeting Cyril & imbibing another glass of Cipriani’s signature Peach Bellini.
