Here at VERY New York public relations, we think of all of our clients as “Stars”, but when an organization as important as the Fashion Group International nominates our clients as “stars”, our suspicions are confirmed.  Well, at the 2025 edition of FGI’s annual Rising Star Awards (the 29th installment), not one, but TWO of our esteemed clients were recognized as Rising Star Finalists.  First came Chamberlin, under the creative direction of designer & founder Joe Millman, received a nod in the Ready to Wear category. Next, Evan Hirsch, the maestro of convertible fashion himself, was named a finalist in the prestigious category of Evening Wear, the final category to be presented.

Designer Jonathan Cohen presented the winner of the Ready to Wear category, which went to Bonnie Young & the legendary fashion personality & now designer of Halston, Ken Downing, presented the award for Evening Wear. Though neither of our clients won, they each were celebrated by all in attendance as real contenders.
