Fashion Reverie, the go-to source for all things fashion week related, revived one of VERY New York public relations favorite story lines for their Spring 2026 collection preview coverage. The lead image for the article was chosen to be a stunning sketch by designer Cyril Verdavainne of VERDAVAINNE. Cyril has been named a rising star by the global Fashion Group International at their 2024 Rising Star Awards luncheon & several major celebs have been spotted on the red carpets of late sporting the label as well.

Cyril begins a lot of his collections by painting on canvas meant for the wall & later transforming these artworks into the basis for his prints that he uses throughout his collection.

The skirt in the sketch above was one of the showstopping pieces from the collection which Cyril debuted on the granite columned veranda as Cipriani on Wall Street as the opening show of NYFW.
