Social Media sensation & runway evening wear designer Evan Hirsch partnered with ShopGoodwill.com for one of the most unique shows of the season… or the last few seasons for that matter. And guess what…?  VERY New York public relations was chosen to produce the event!  Thanks Evan & ShopGoodwill.com!!!

The show consisted of 30 looks that Evan Hirsch up-cycled from garments originally donated to Goodwill as someone’s cast-off garments. Evan took the garments & used them as bases for his creations. After shortening them, lengthening them, disassembling them. reassembling them, adding some embroidery, lace, trim, sequins, etc…. Evan sent them all down the runway of NYFW to the shrieking delight of this in attendance.

To our knowledge, this is the very first NYFW to consist of 100% up-cycled pieces.  Can someone say “Sustainable”???

The garments will be on display & for sale on ShopGoodwill.com at the beginning of the November to raise funds for the plethora of initiatives  that Goodwill & ShopGoodwill.com support.
