Here at VERY New York public relations, we’ve had the distinct privilege to be the producers of the American Image Awards for over 10 years (5 on our own & 5 as part of our previous agency). Each year, we pinch ourselves to make sure it’s real… & every year… we’ve yelled “Ouch!”  That doesn’t sound too good… but you get the point. In all seriousness, it’s an honor…

The American Apparel & Footwear Association is the owner of the American Image Awards & the 2026 edition marks the 50th anniversary of the ubiquitous event. WWD (Women’s Wear Daily) has been so kind to exclusively announce the honoree slate for the past decade we’ve been involved. Thank you WWD!

This year’s honoree slate includes Zac Posen, Timberland, AFIRM Group, Fabletics, Josue Solano (BBC Int’l), Seth Campbell (BBC Int’l), & artist extraordinaire – Ruben Toledo, who is being celebrated as the designer of the coveted statuette.

For the 10th year, the event counts the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) as its charitable partner.

We’re so looking forward to April… We’re already ironing our tuxedos & polishing our heels!
