The red carpet, or in the case of the 50th Annual American Image Awards this year… GOLD carpet was particularly one on which to be seen at this year’s event. Given it’s 5 decade run, of which VERY New York public relations has been honored to be part of the last 12 events (we believe…) as the producers, it’s no surprise that the hot ticket in town on April 21st was none other than the American Image Awards event. For the 10th year, the event had the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) as its charitable benefactor.

The event got covered globally, but when your own industry trade publication covers you, it’s particularly meaningful.  Thanks to the iconic WWD, the event was even more special… 55 pictures more special to be exact. Pictured above is the iconic Molly Ringwald who attended the guest of the event emcee, Emmy Award winning journalist, Alina Cho.
