For the last 11 or more years (we’ve lost track…) VERY New York public relations has had the incredible honor to produce the American Image Awards. Owned by the AFAA (American Apparel & Footwear Association) & benefiting the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America), the American Image Awards is one of the most celebrated fashion industry events in America. This year, Designer of the Year Zac Posen was introduced by his good friend Katie Holmes, who wore a suit from the Gap’s upscale capsule collection, much to the delight of the legions of photographers who lined the red carpet for a chance to catch one of the bold faced names that appeared for the 2026 installment… the 50th Anniversary edition of the event.
