Global media powerhouse FashionUnited.com attended the recent opening of the fully sustainable, 100% plastic free retail concept in New York’s SoHo shopping district & published a fantastic article entitled “nuhü division unveils unique plastic-free Manhattan pop-up store”. Jackie Mallon, the writer of the story, is one of our most respected fashion journalists in the business & she once again wrote a piece that truly “gets” the nuhü story from beginning to end.
Done as a partnership between VERY New York public relations’ client nuhü division & Spanish industrial design company Cartonlab, the store is made entirely of corrugated cardboard (see detail image above). Even the hangers are made of recycled cardboard.
The store is open at 426 West Broadway between Prince & Spring Streets in SoHo & is open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Can’t make it to New York? Worry not… you can get anything you want on-line at www.nuhudivision.com
Every piece of nuhü division product is made of 100% sustainably sourced cotton & all product from concept to garments in consumer hands are done with zero plastics in the process.
