On the 9th of September, 2022, fashion legend Byron Lars returned to the runway for the first time in over two decades (maybe even 3 decades!). He showed his In Earnest by Byron Earnest Lars collection, the label he creates with his long-time business partner Sheila Gray from their studio in Harlem, here in New York. VERY New York public relations was beyond honored to be asked once again to handle the press for Byron & Sheila for the season.

The room was all a-buzz with stylish anticipation & it was all worth it.  The collection walked the runway to the delighted shrieks from the multitude of fans that showed up to support Byron & Sheila, one of which was Vogue Runway’s Laird Borelli-Persson, who had done a pre-show interview & posted this incredible piece following on Vogue Runway.

Walking the runway was another legend, none other than model Coco Mitchell (pictured above) who told us before the show… “I’m only doing two shows this season… Byron Lars & Kevan Hall… because I will only walk for these two designers!”
