The fashionable blog site The Garnette Report gave VERY New York public relations client Rory Worby her first story in an amazing feature that calls it like they see it: “Rory Worby: A Fashion Artist“. Thank you Garnette Report!
Rory Worby creates her masterpieces from her studio located just north of New York City using ancient techniques modernized just enough to give them life in today’s fast paced, high-tech world. Every step of her process is by hand, from the pre-washing of the base fabric to the stretching, painting & steaming of the printed pieces… all with materials & equipment that are as sustainable as possible (no chemicals in this studio!). Then, after meeting with her exacting standards on the creative side, she works with her seamstress, herself an Afghan refugee now living her in the US, to transform her printed fabric into the scarves, caftans, slip dresses, pillows & throws for which she is rapidly becoming known as the “go to artist” by the most discriminating fashion aesthetes amongst us.
You really need to see these pieces to truly grasp the level of quality & detail that is put into every piece bearing the “Rory Worby” label. See a selection on her website: www.roryworby.com.
Or, you can shop one of her partner boutiques that can be found here.
Still don’t see what you want? Contact us directly, Rory is available for custom commissions to match any occasion or décor scheme.
Congrats Rory! This is the first of many such mentions in your future!
