VERY New York public relations client Gita Omri was featured in French digital style news site KODD as part of their review of the New York Spring 2023 runway collections. The piece featured a lot of fantastic behind the scenes imagery and truly captured the exuberant mood backstage.

Gita Omri staged her first solo show during NYFW in September 2022 & has been widely celebrated in the press ever since. There’s much to celebrate with this show for both the designer & women of all sizes, as Gita is the only runway collection from all of the global fashion weeks that featured TRUE inclusivity with every single garment on her runway being available in the full size spectrum from 0 to 30.

But, don’t mistake this collection for just another play on inclusivity. In fact, Gita doesn’t even like to categorize herself as an “inclusive designer”, instead she says: “Not plus, not minus… just womenswear!”

Congratulations Gita!  Or perhaps we should say: “Felicitations, Gita!”
