WWD’s Lisa Lockwood not only attended the 2022 American Image Awards at The Plaza Hotel on April 26th, she also wrote a lovely recap of the event including an incredible photo gallery that truly captured the atmosphere of the 44th annual installment of the iconic event. Prabal Gurung delivered a compelling acceptance speech & left the room on their feet in raucous applause. Chip Bergh, CEO of Levi Strauss & Co., as well as Sonia Syngas, CEO of Gap, Inc. each spoke of their company’s perseverance over the last two years while navigating the uncharted waters of the global pandemic. The awards began when The Ellen MacArthur Foundation accepted for their work in the Eco-Stewardship of our planet, followed by Heidi Zak of ThirdLove.
